North Bethesda is an unincorporated community in Montgomery County, Maryland, sitting between Bethesda to the south and Rockville to the north. Its commercial heart is the White Flint district, where the Pike & Rose mixed-use development brought new shops, dining, and entertainment to Rockville Pike (MD-355).
The White Flint Metro station was renamed North Bethesda in 2022 — a sign of how the area's identity has grown up around that transit stop.
North Bethesda's housing is a mix of single-family homes, townhomes, and condos. Established residential neighborhoods of single-family homes sit alongside newer townhome communities and condo and apartment buildings around the White Flint district.

The main road corridors are Rockville Pike (MD-355), I-270, and the Capital Beltway (I-495). Montgomery County's Ride On buses also serve the area, and MARC trains stop in neighboring Rockville and Garrett Park.
Pike & Rose is the area's retail and entertainment hub, with shops, restaurants, a movie theater, and events. The Music Center at Strathmore — a major concert hall — is also located in North Bethesda, near the Grosvenor–Strathmore station.
